Galician poet Chus Pato's poetry has been translated into Portuguese, Catalan, Serbian, Polish, German, Italian, and classical Arabic, among others. Chus Pato has been invited to international festivals in Barcelona, Rosario, Havana, Buenos Aires, Bratislava and Rotterdam, and in September 2015, she read her poems in the Woodberry Poetry Room of Harvard University. Her book Nineveh was awarded the the Losada Diéguez prize, and Hordas de escritura received the national prize Spanish critics prize and, once again, the Losada Diéguez prize. She was recognized as the best author of 2014 for Carne de Leviatán) by the Irmandade de libreiros de Galicia.
