Catherine Lalonde was born in 1974 and lives in Montreal. She is the author of three collections (La dévoration des fées, Le Quartanier, 2018;Cassandre, 2005, and Corps étranger, 2008, winner of the Prix Émile-Nelligan, both published by Québec Amériqueand re-issued in 2019/2020 by Le Quartanier). She is a journalist at the independent daily Le Devoir.
