Anne-Marie Desmeules lives in Lévis with her family. In addition to the two collections published at the Hexagone, Le tendon et l'os(Governor General's Award for poetry in 2019) andCette personne très laide qui s'endort dans mes bras (2017), she has published her work in many literary journals. Her poetic suiteBouleauxwas shortlisted for the Prix de poésie Radio-Canada in 2018.
