Nelson Charest is a professor of poetry at the University of Ottawa. He is particularly interested in modern poetry and writes a column on contemporary poetry in the journal Voix et Images. His work has appeared in Contre-jour and he is currently writing a book on brevity. His poems have been published in various journals and at Le Lézard amoureux.
