Poet and novelist, Andrée Christensen has been awarded some thirty prizes and distinctions. Her poetry has inspired Canadian composers to write several musical pieces that have been performed here and abroad. As a visual artist, Andrée Christensen favours art forms that promote the exploration of dreams and the unconscious: collages, mixed media, monotypes. Some of the artist's photographic works and collages have appeared in magazines in Canada and Europe. She also presents her work in solo and group exhibitions.
