A star of HBO's Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry and Spike Lee's #1 movie Inside Man with Denzel Washington, he is the author of Man Up: Reimagining Modern Manhood released by Penguin Random House, a memoir that seeks to challenge the limiting and destructive narrative of machismo that inundates what so many young males are taught.
