Chris Tse

Chris Tse is an artist and writer currently living on Songhees, Esquimalt, and WSANEC territory in Victoria, BC. He placed second at both the 2011 Poetry Slam World Cup and 2016 Rio International Poetry Slam, and is a former Canadian National Slam Champion. Originally from Stolo territory in Coquitlam, BC, Tse has shared the stage with Martin Luther King III, J. Cole, and Demi Lovato, and formerly toured across North America with the internationally acclaimed Kenyan Boys Choir. His work has appeared on CBC, CTV, and radio shows as far as Australia, France, and Ghana. He writes about identity, immigration, intimacy, and basketball.
