Jennifer Baker is a poet currently exploring the minutiae and hidden secrets of apology, growth, and acceptance. She is a part-time professor, researcher, reviewer, reviews editor for Arc Poetry Magazine, national administrative coordinator for the Sierra Club Canada Foundation, is finishing her doctorate and sometimes writes poems. She published her first chapbook, Abject Lessons, in 2014 with above/ground press, and her poetry and reviews can be found in Ottawater, illiterature, Dusie, The Bull Calf, The Journal of Canadian Poetry, and forthcoming in Canadian Literature. She considers herself extremely lucky to have also collaborated on projects with Natalie Hanna and the Aella women's choir, Chris Turnbull on Rout/e, and with Just Food's Agri-150 Wine and Words tour.
