Sanchari Sur (elle/eux) est doctorante en littérature anglaise à l’Université Wilfrid Laurier. Leurs textes ont paru dans Al Jazeera, le Toronto Star, Joyland, Daily Xtra, Asian American Writers’ Workshop’s The Margins, Ploughshares, Arc Poetry Magazine, Quill & Quire et ailleurs. Leur livre, The Unpublished City (Bookhug, 2017), fut finaliste pour le Toronto Book Award et ont leur a attribué le Lambda Literary Fellowship in fiction en 2018, de même qu’une résidence d’artiste au Centre Banff en 2019 pour Electric Literature, et le Critics’’ Desk Award for a Feature Review de la revue Arc Poetry en 2020. Sanchari Sur a co-édité Watch Your Head: Writers and Artists Respond to Climate Change (Coach House Books, 2020), et a participé à In/Appropriate: Interviews with Canadian Authors on the Writing of Difference (Gordon Hill Press) en 2020.
