A Montrealer for over thirty years, Erin Mouré is dedicated to poetry and the translation of poetry and poetics. She has published 19 volumes of translations of poetry, poetics, and biotext from French, Spanish, Portugese and Galician. Her most recent books are Kapusta (Anansi, 2015), Planetary Noise: Selected Poetry of Erin Mouré (Wesleyan, 2017), the English version of Brazilian Wilson Bueno's Paraguayan Sea (Nightboat, 2017), and a memoir, Sitting Shiva on Minto Avenue, by Toots (New Star, 2017). With Ivan Barreiro, she recently translated a selection of poems by Galician poet Gonzalo Hermo.
